MERCH REVOLOTUION!

In the rapidly evolving world of music and fashion, a groundbreaking venture has emerged. Musique Mode, an ambitious project developed in 2023 by the members of the renowned agency, Fashion Consort, namely Joshua Williams, Christopher Lacey, and Phil Corin, seeks to transform the music merchandise domain. Their vision is anchored in offering the music industry a sophisticated and modern alternative to the conventional music merchandise. By leveraging their profound expertise in fashion brand building, merchandising, and retail operations, the trio aims to revolutionize the way music merchandise is created and sold, giving fans a unique, full-sensory retail experience.

At the creative helm of Musique Mode is the talented Brit Shaked, serving as Creative Director, along with iconic fashion designer Gabi Asfour (threeASFOUR). Together, they are pioneering a unique system, termed as a 'foundational collection,' which will act as a template for subsequent design collaborations with musical artists. Shaked elaborates on this innovative approach, stating, "the goal is to create a system that simplifies the complex design and manufacturing process of apparel while still offering artists the chance to fully customize their merchandise in a way that truly augments their creative vision."

The team is currently engrossed in developing a versatile system that encompasses an expansive range of categories including tops, bottoms, dresses, accessories, bags, hats, shoes, and more. While artists have the option to use their logo or icon, the base designs are tailored to accommodate a diverse spectrum of design intricacies. Whether it's an evocative all-over print, bespoke seams or cuts, or captivating details like oversized zippers, the system provides immense flexibility. Moreover, the initiative also stresses the importance of material choices. From a classic cotton hoodie to an luxe cashmere hoodie, the options are boundless.

Taking personalization to the next level, both Shaked and Asfour are committed to working intimately with each artist to cultivate a distinct collection of items that mirror the artist's vision, their upcoming album, and their tour's ethos. Integral to the design process is the art of merchandising, ensuring that each item is connected by design and price, allowing fans to purchase and wear multiple pieces as a cohesive ensemble.

Reflecting on the synergy between a traditional fashion collection and a music merchandise collection, Joshua Williams, CEO, states, "music merchandise has the wherewithal to offer the same thing as a fashion brand — a sense of identity, belonging, and community. Customers choose brands as extensions of themselves. By connecting this same concept to music, the possibilities are particularly powerful." It's this confluence of fashion and music, identity and expression, that Musique Mode aspires to harness.

Musique Mode stands at the vanguard of a paradigm shift in the music merchandise landscape. By intertwining fashion expertise with passion for music, they envision a future where their platform is the ultimate solution for artists, enabling them to design merchandise that resonates deeply with fans. It's more than just a tee or a logo; it's a statement, an identity, and a community.
